Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth Riley has made her career in higher education as an English teacher as well as in nursing education. Her 20-plus years of bedside nursing include high-risk pregnancy and labor and delivery, to home health and hospice nursing. She has worked in critical care, and in the medical surgical unit. Currently, she is employed as a discharge planner/case manager in a critical access hospital.

Serving her community has always been important to Elizabeth. She is a former assistant cross country coach, Nordic Kids ski coach, and a member of the Hayward Rotary for several years.

Born in Eau Claire and raised in Southern California by her single-parent mother, Elizabeth always knew she would return to her beloved Wisconsin, which she did after high school. She is married to Matt and is mother to three adult children who have wonderful spouses, and grandmother to one grandchild. She takes her commitment to making Wisconsin a healthier, more prosperous state, with clean water and air, excellent schools with well-qualified teachers, and affordable and accessible health care for everyone seriously. She is for you and will represent you.
